| Overview |
The Neutreeko is a two-player abstract board game invented by Jan Kristian Haugland in 2001.
| Board |
The Neutreeko is played on a 5x5 board. There are two players: Black and White. The initial position of the checkers is the shown on the following picture:
| Objective |
The goal of Neutreeko is to place three own checkers in a row, orthogonally or diagonally. The row must be connected. |
| Play |
Players move alternatively one checker per turn, starting from the player controlling black checkers. A checker slides orthogonally or diagonally until stopped by an occupied cell or the edge of the board. A game is declared a draw if the same position occurs three times. |
